I am delighted to Introduce the Centre of Wellbeing.
This is a newly designed state of the art facility based in Derry City providing soundproof counselling rooms and a training room for use by private counsellors/Supervisors and counselling organisations. All rooms have been finished uniquely with client comfort in mind and particular attention paid to the importance of confidentiality and sensitivity around client autonomy. There is also a large training room fully furnished including all presentation equipment. These rooms are available for rent by the hour, half day or full day at very competitive prices.
My vision is to provide a hub for like-minded individuals with the aim of increasing wellbeing across a number of different key areas.
This new facility will provide the following services:
- Full Time Receptionist cover to meet and greet clients who will be suitably trained to assist the most vulnerable who will be using the Centre
- Comfortable, relaxing, sound proofed counselling rooms
- Comfortable and inviting waiting room
- Soft music in hallways
- Toilet/bathroom facilities (including disabled access) will be provided for both clients and the counsellors operating from the premises.
- Conferencing facilities in the training room
- Free Wifi for use by Counsellors/Supervisors
- Tea, Coffee and staff room for use by counsellors
- Easy access car parking within 100 yards
- Online booking system ensuring the correct type of rooms are accessed by the correct client and counsellors
- Counselling/Consulting Rooms £10 per hour, £35 per half day ( 4 hours morning/afternoon) and evening rate 6pm – 9pm £25
- Training Room £12 per hour, £40 per half day ( 4 hours) and £70 for full day.
- Block bookings available on request
- The business will be open from 9am to 9pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on a Friday and 9am to 1pm on a Saturday
- Wide range of courses and classes available for Wellbeing
Including CPD for Counsellors
To individual Counsellors the Centre of Wellbeing will offer a low cost professional and safe alternative to renting their own property on a long term basis.
